My Story
My name is Corrina Steck, and I am a board‑certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, my career began in a high‑acuity Baltimore City Emergency Department, where I gained the clinical judgment, adaptability, and confidence that shaped the provider I am today.
Working as an agency nurse allowed me to deliver high‑quality care across multiple settings—emergency medicine, pre‑operative clinics, wound care, occupational health, private duty nursing, and school health services. My love for medicine and my desire to support communities in a deeper, more meaningful way led me to advance my training as a Nurse Practitioner.
I spent eight years caring for employees in an industrial occupational setting for a Fortune 500 spice company, where I developed a strong understanding of how lifestyle, environment, and systemic health influence long‑term wellness. As my career progressed, I recognized that many patients lacked the knowledge and resources needed to prevent illness.
This realization shifted the focus of my care toward prevention, longevity, and patient education, while inspiring me to develop deeper expertise in aesthetic and functional medicine.
